CueBuddy is operated by OptimalSEM LLC ("we," "us," "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account.

Payment Information: Billing details are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

Scripts and Content: Scripts and materials you upload for rehearsal purposes ("Your Content").

Session Data: Technical data about your rehearsal sessions, including audio interaction data, session duration, and feature usage. This data is used to provide the Service and improve its functionality.

Device and Usage Information: Browser type, device type, IP address, and general usage patterns.

Logs and Diagnostics: We may collect logs and diagnostic data to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

How We Use Your Information

To provide the Service: Processing your scripts, running AI rehearsal sessions, and managing your account.

To improve the Service: Analyzing aggregated and anonymized usage patterns, troubleshooting issues, and improving system performance.

To communicate with you: Sending account-related notifications, updates, and support responses.

To process payments: Managing your subscription through Stripe.

AI and Data Usage

We do not use your scripts or voice data to train or fine-tune AI models.

We use third-party AI service providers to process audio and text in real time. These providers process data solely to provide the Service and are configured not to use your data to train their models.

We may use data to improve the Service, including analyzing aggregated and anonymized usage patterns, troubleshooting issues, and improving system performance.

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

  • We do not sell or share your scripts with any third party.

  • We do not use your scripts or voice data to train AI models.

  • We do not share your information with advertisers.

Script and Audio Data

We treat your scripts as private and restrict access to them as described in this policy.

We access uploaded scripts only to provide the Service and, when necessary, for troubleshooting and support.

Audio from rehearsal sessions is processed in real time to enable the AI scene partner and is not stored by default. Audio may be temporarily stored for debugging or support purposes with your consent.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), authentication, AI processing, and transactional email.

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the Service and are subject to appropriate data protection obligations.

Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, authenticate users, and improve user experience.

Data Security

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@cuebuddy.ai.

Upon account deletion, your scripts and personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You may have the following rights:

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data

  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format

CueBuddy is not intended for use by individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  • Right to opt out of sale of personal information
